Independent Front Suspension (IFS) Solid Axle Conversion Kits The ORU bolt-on conversion kit includes all the necessary brackets to convert your independent front suspension (IFS) to a solid axle system. The solid axle system uses leaf springs which will offer you a wider variety of lift height options that will accommodate larger tires along with more articulation than IFS. The solid axle with locking hubs can be equipped with a limited slip or locking differential for greater off-road capabilities. Off Road Unlimited offers an optional "+6" kit utilizing a 6" longer front leaf spring for a premium factory like ride.

01-10 GM 2500/3500 HD 4-Link Conversion
ORU�s bolt-on conversion kit will allow you to convert your 2001-�10 GM independent front suspension (IFS) to a solid axle with a 4-link and coil-over�s. With this kit and the stronger axle in place, you can run a larger tire (37� to 40�) with a minimum amount of lift. The kit comes complete with all necessary brackets and hardware, 4-link, adjustable 2.5� front coil-over shocks, front axle assembly, brake lines, rear springs and shocks. The only other items required are a complete front driveshaft and a rear driveshaft modification.

01-10 GM HD 2500/3500 Solid Axle Conversion
This kit is for use with a 32.5 spring pad width axle, and fit 01-10 2500HD - 3500HD, 4wd and 2wd. (Installation of this kit will move the front axle forward 1" and add 3" of lift to the front.) You need the additional 3" of lift when choosing your spring - ex. 5.5 inch spring equals 8.5 inches of total lift.

89-98 4wd 1500-3500 use 32.5 spring pad & axle

This kit is a 32.5 spring pad kit for 88-98 1500/2500/3500 4wd only. Installation of this kit will move the front axle forward 1" and add 3" of lift to the front. You need to include the additional 3" of lift when choosing your spring ex. a 6" spring equals 9" of total lift.

This kit is a 36.5 spring pad kit for 88-98 1500/2500/3500 4wd only. Installation of this kit will move the front axle forward 1" and add 3" of lift to the front. You need to include the additional 3" of lift when choosing your spring ex. 6" spring equals 9" of total lift.

89-98 1500 2wd to 4wd Solid axle Conversion
This kit is a 32.5 spring pad width 88-98, 2wheel drive only. installation of this kit will move the front axle forward 1" and add 2" of lift to the front. You need to include the additional 3" of lift when choosing your spring, example 6inch spring equals 9 inches total lift.
